inside a yeara recollection of 2020

Inside the rules of the global pandemic, time lost its relevance, allowing us space to examine where we stand in the stillness. Suddenly and slowly our true north shifted in every direction as questions emerged in place of the answers we carried as our compass.

In this series, images of rocks and glass are metaphors for the fragile nature of the created world we inhabit. These metaphors are paired with graphically designed text, observations on the social shifts that occurred in the rift and the stark dualities it revealed–from the darkness of violence, ignorance, and loss, to the light of grace, insight, and resilience.
